Located on Level 1 of Lady Lamington North Tower, are card operated, shared laundry facilities with commercial washer/dryer and ironing facilities charged on a pay per use basis.
Our common room has a pool table, a table tennis table, football tables, couches, a television and a home theatre room. The common room can be booked for resident functions.
Common areas include a ground entry link and lounge area, reception and admin lobby, games lounge, common lounge, cinema, music room, heritage study rooms. The games room features football table, pool table, couches and breakout areas.
Herston Quarter is located two kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD and well serviced by major road networks and public transport. Public transport is in close proximity with bus networks servicing the universities, CBD and northern and southern suburbs.
The planned Brisbane Metro Station will also be located within 100 metres on Herston Road.
Train stations within proximity such as Bowen Hills Train Station services the CBD and northern suburbs. The planned Cross River Rail station at the RNA is also within walking distance to Herston Quarter.
A common area cinema entertainment room with projector screen and couches is located on the Ground Floor building.
Communal kitchens with cooking facilities and dining area are located on the Ground floor of Lady Lamington North Tower at UniLodge Herston.
Lady Lamington includes a 24 hour gym facility featuring a multi-purpose gym area, treadmills, rowing machines and weight machines. A stretching area with floor to ceiliing mirrors is also available which could be used for yoga, pilates or dance activities.
The property features high speed wireless broadband via the SUPERLOOP network for students throughout the rooms and main common areas of the building.
Unlimited internet usage and connection is included in your utilities each week for up to 10 devices concurrently.
237 bike storage spaces for the student accommodation facilities are located within P9 level of STARS. Access to the Bike storage facility for end users (students) accessing the Bike storage will be from Herston Rd via Stage 3 STARS Public Realm or via Stage 5 Heritage Precinct Public Realm. Bike storage is also available in public realm and in the neighbouring building, however limited.
For your security, we provide special coded key card to access your unit, your bedroom, the common room and other areas such as laundries. Herston Quarter will have CCTV coverage across the facility. 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
There is no car parking on site, however, there are car parking facilities at your own cost located below: -
Please note that unfortunately you will not be eligible for a Resident Parking Permit. It is also recommended that you do not park on the street, as there is a two-hour parking limit in place where signed between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. For further information, please see the FAQ.
Future retail tenancies within the Heritage Precinct (Edith Cavell ground floor and Lady Lamington South Tower Ground floor, STARS Public Realm including Sushi ado, Boost Juice and Botanical Café.
