BBQ facilities are located on the rooftop terrace. Residents can enjoy a BBQ with friends or family or prepare dinner for one. The BBQ is electric and free for all residents to use.
Secure bike sheds are available to all residents free of charge and are located on the ground floor of the property.
We have a theatre room located in our 6th floor common room. You can also check out all of the latest movies at Hoyts Cinemas Belconnen only 1.9km away which is a leisurely 10 minute walk.
UC Lodge features some great common areas with our 6th floor roof top balcony and commons. With TV’s, large projector in the theatre room, study benches, dining tables and chairs, common kitchen and BBQ’s ensure you’ll never be bored.
The kitchen in your apartment has all of your basic essentials, including fridge with freezer, cooktop, ducted range hood and microwave oven. Ovens are included in Multi-share Apartments and in the Common Room.
The laundry room on the ground floor includes coin operated washing machines and dryers, at the cost of $4.00 per load. Access to the laundry is available 24/7, so you can do your washing at any time of the day. The laundry room also includes ironing facilities. Irons are available to borrow at Reception during office hours.
The UC Library is located right next door to UC Lodge. We also have quiet study spaces on each floor.
We have two large outdoor rooftop terraces for Residents to use.
Our friendly Duty Manager is available after hours and offers general assistance and pastoral care services. There is always someone around if you need to have a chat!
If you need to make a photocopy or print off an assignment, one of our friendly customer service staff at reception can assist. Prices start at 20c per page for black and white A4 printing.
The property is in a great location with close access to public transport. A 10 minute walk to the Belconnen Bus Interchange where you can catch a bus to just about anywhere in Canberra. There is also a bus stop on campus, approximately 5 minutes walk.
On the ground floor of the property there is an array of cafes and restaurants to suit everyone’s taste buds. Located a 10 minute walk to Westfield Belconnen shopping centre which is one of the largest in Canberra, featuring around 270 specialty stores.

With your security and safety in mind, access to your floor and apartment is via swipe card.
Building Security
Resident safety is a number one priority for UniLodge management. The property features secure access on all external doors which means that no one can enter the building without swipe card access or unless in the company of a resident or staff. Onsite management and after hour’s staff are always available in case of emergency.
Quiet study spaces are located on each floor and are furnished with large tables and chairs and a whiteboard.
Studio, Studio Deluxe, Studio Double and 1 bedroom Apartments have a 28 inch flat screen TV, while our multi share apartments contain a 32 inch flat screen TV.
Drink and snack vending machines are located in the 6th floor Common Room.
Broadband – Wi-Fi Broadband Connection
The property features high speed wireless broadband throughout the building, so no matter where you are within the property you can access the internet.
