Why is the building referred to as West Tower at Melbourne Quarter?

West Tower is located within Melbourne Quarter - a vibrant precinct in central Melbourne. It includes dining, shopping, residential apartments and workplaces. West Tower is the final building in the precinct and the only one designed for Build-to-Rent.

What is Build-to-Rent?

Build-to-Rent (BTR) means homes that are purpose-built for renters, offering homes exclusively for lease rather than sale. BTR homes are owned and operated by a professional landlord, and have been designed with renters in mind, typically offering things like flexible leases, additional amenities, and services.

How many apartments will there be in West Tower?

The building will have 797 apartments.

What lease terms are available?

We offer flexible lease terms ranging from 6 months to 12 months, and even long-term leases of up to five years. Contact our leasing team for more details.

Do I need to pay anything before moving in?

Yes. You’ll need to pay a bond which is equal to 4 weeks’ rent, plus 2 weeks’ rent in advance when you sign your lease.

Is parking available in the building?

Yes, a limited number of parking spaces are available and can be leased for an additional cost. There is no visitor parking, but you’ll find public transport and paid parking nearby. Check out the location page for details.

When can I book a tour of West Tower?

Tours will be available from early 2026. Contact us to stay up-to-date and get early access to our tour bookings.

Can I reserve an apartment before the building opens?
