UniLodge School Street Studios offers student accommodation right in the heart of Kelvin Grove’s bustling Urban Village precinct.
With four options to choose from – balcony, view, loft or courtyard - it’s easy to find the right uni accommodation in Brisbane for you. Each of the 84 studio apartments has a bright and modern vibe, sharing an indoor-outdoor zone that comes complete with ultra-cool furnishings. It’s a great space to hang out with friends, in a complex that offers everything you need.
Situated in the heart of Kelvin Grove’s bustling Urban Village precinct, UniLodge School Street Studios is just a five-minute walk from QUT Kelvin Grove and a three-minute walk to the free shuttle bus to QUT Gardens Point. That takes care of uni! Now for the really important stuff, food. A quick five-minute walk gets you to a heap of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby, plus there’s a farmers market every Saturday. If you want to get into town, public transport is right on your doorstep and the CBD is just 10 minutes away.

A number of wall mounted bike racks are available for residents to use and are located in the secure undercover car park.
Common Areas and Lounges
UniLodge School Street Studios features one main common room on the first floor. It has couches to sit at with friends, a large table and chairs to sit down and study at- along with a sink and microwave. There is also a split system air-conditioning unit in the room so your can turn the heat on or cool the room down for whatever season. On the second level there is a large dinner table and comfy chairs- if dinner parties are your fortay it's perfect!
Car Park
Car park spaces are available to rent in addition to your accommodation.
The spaces are limited and are subject to availability and are $15 per week.
Gym
Queensland University of Technology provides a gym, pool and other facilities at both of their campuses. There is one located less than 5 minutes walk from the building. They offer discounts to QUT students.
Kitchens
The kitchen in your studio has all of your basic essentials, including: fridge/freezer, cooktop, ducted range hood and microwave oven. The Loft Studios are equipped with ovens.
Laundry
Washing machines and clothes dryers are located on the first floor with electronic and cash payment options and open 24/7.
A warm/hot wash is $5, a cold wash is $4 and the dryer is $4 per load.
On-site Staff
Our on-site friendly customer service focused staff offer general assistance and pastoral care services – you will always have someone there for you.
An after-hours emergency contact number will also be provided to residents upon check-in.
Public Transport Stops
The property is in a great location with close access to public transport. There is a major bus stop less than 500m away with buses going to the City and South Bank. There is also a Bus Way in the QUT campus which goes to all major places around Brisbane.
Retail Shops in Precinct
Kelvin Grove Urban Village has a wide range of cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and other shops and is only a 3 minute walk from the front door.
