With the University of Melbourne’s main entrance right across the road, you could finish a lecture and be poolside in under five minutes! The location makes getting around easy, with tram stops at the doorstep and the CBD just three stops away.
Our 24-hour reception means help is always close by, with staff available during the day and security at night. The Residential Life Manager also organises regular social events and activities, helping residents connect and take a break from study.

BBQ facilities are located at the property and free for all residents to use – you can enjoy a BBQ with your friends, or prepare dinner for one.
There are limited bike racks available in a lockable shed near the main entrance.
Large common room area located on the ground floor featuring big screen TV with Foxtel,NetFlix, gaming console with the latest games, comfy couches and tables. Throughout the building there is multipule study room avaibale to residents idea for group study and those wanting to complete big projects.
Gym and pool facilities are located on the property – free for all residents to use.
The laundry room includes both washing machines and dryers. Access to the laundry is available throughout the building. It cost $4 for the washer and $4 for the dryer.
There is an outdoor area on Ground Floor (restricted hours – available until 10pm).
Our on-site friendly customer service focused staff will be available offering general assistance and support services – you will always have someone there for you.
If you need to make a photocopy or print out an assignment, one of our friendly customer service staff at reception can assist – charges apply.
The property is in a great location with close access to public transport. The tram stop is located right outside the building, trams number 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67, and 72.
A short 2 minute walk to Lygon Street Italian Precinct, better known as Melbourne’s Little Italy. There is an array of shops, cafes and restaurants to suit everyone’s needs. There is also a Woolworths Supermarket just 2 minutes walk inside the Lygon court.
Resident safety is number one priority for Student Living – 800 Swanston’s management. The property features secure access to the building - no one can enter the building without swipe card access or in the company of a resident or staff.
Throughout the building there is multiple study rooms avaibale to residents ideal for group studys and those wanting to complete big projects.
Vending machines are located in common area on ground floor.

The property features high speed wireless broadband throughout the building, so no matter where you are within the property you can access the internet.

Your rent includes unlimited high speed Wi-Fi internet through our provider Superloop. Internet is part of the Advertised rate, which appears as Ancillary Charges on your Lease and is separated from the rental.
