Yes. To secure an apartment, the resident must pay the Application Fee of &#36;55, the Security Deposit equivalent to 4 weeks of rent, two weeks rent in advance and the Residential Life fee of &#36;150. Prices vary depending on the room type and contract length.

Is there a cancellation fee once I have secured an apartment?

Greater than 14 days before the start date of your contract: Non-refundable: Application Fee of $55.Refundable: Security Deposit, Residential Life Fee of $150 and two weeks of Occupancy Fees. Between 1 and 14 days before the start date of your contract: Cancellation Fee equivalent to two weeks of Occupancy fees.Non-refundable: Application Fee of $55.Refundable: Security Deposit, Residential Life Fee of $150. On or after the start date of your contract: Cancellation Fee equivalent to two weeks of Occupancy fees.Non-refundable: Application Fee of $55 and Residential Life Fee of $150.You are responsible for payment of the Occupancy Fees and your Security Deposit will be retained by UniLodge until a suitable replacement is secured.

If I wanted to break my lease, what are the costs associated with this?

The resident is required to provide 4 weeks notice prior to terminating a contract. The resident will be charged an Early Termination Fee equal to one (1) week of Occupancy Fees and will be responsible for finding a suitable replacement to take over the remainder of the contract.

What are your check-in times and days?

Check-in time is Monday-Friday 2pm and check-out time is 10am. If you require flexible check-in or check-out times, please contact us at uc.campuswest@unilodge.com.au to make arrangements.

Do you offer after hours check-in?

Yes, please call the Duty RA on 0466 558 053. The Duty RA will have you complete some paperwork, provide you with your key and show you to your room.

Is the residential life program fee a one-off payment?

You need to pay for the residential life program fee annually. It is compulsory and it covers for a range of events and activities organised by Unilodge.

Will someone help me if something is broken/ not working in my room?

Yes, we have a professional maintenance team to support the general maintenance requests. Contractors may be arranged if the issue persists.

Do you take cash payments?

Unfortunately, we do not take cash payments at UniLodge Campus West. You can make rent payments through credit/debit cards or pay online.

I am not a UniLodge Campus West resident, can I still park at the location?

Yes, limited parking is available to non-Campus West residents including University of Canberra staff at a rate of &#36;13.00 per week. To apply, please complete an online enquiry form. 

Parking is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. All applications are subject to availability and approval.

Who is responsible for cleaning the accommodation?

Residents are responsible for their own room and shared common area cleaning. As part of communal living, we encourage all residents to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for everyone's comfort and wellbeing. We provide suggested weekly and monthly cleaning checklists to help residents stay on top of regular cleaning tasks and keep shared spaces in good condition.
