Yes, to be a resident at UniLodge you need to have a current and valid COE (confirmation of enrollment- but NOT offer letter) / student ID from the date you apply for your room and throughout your entire stay as per the dates on your contract agreement. Please contact reception if you have any questions.
Before moving in, you are required to pay your bond in accordance with QLD tenancy laws. The bond amount is equivalent to 4 weeks' rent and will be lodged with the Rental Bond Authority by UniLodge Brisbane City on your behalf. The bond is held by the Residential Tenancy Authority until the end of your agreement. Payment for bond can be made via stripe, please contact the property for further information.
Yes. To secure an apartment, the Tenant must pay two week’s advanced rent to us and a Security Deposit / Bond of 4 weeks rent payable to the RTA.

This property is part of the UniLodge "No Visa - No Pay" policy. If you were not successful in receiving a visa to study in Australia before the commencement of your lease start date, we ask that you write an email to the property team requesting cancellation of your lease, and include the email you received from the Department of Home Affairs advising your refusal notice to study in Australia. Your booking will be held and reviewed over the next 48 hours, and the property team will then formally advise that your lease agreement will be cancelled without penalty and you will receive a full refund*.

No. There are no application fees.
Yes you can cancel your booking before you move in. You will get your deposit back in full if you cancel 30 or more days in advance of your contract start date, otherwise a cancellation fee applies.

Guests are welcome to stay for up to 2 consecutive nights at no additional charge. Residents in multi-share apartments must obtain the consent of their roommate(s) or flatmate(s) before having an overnight guest. Ongoing double occupancy is only permitted in Deluxe Studio, Deluxe Corner Studio and Studio Adaptable room types. Any additional occupant must be registered with Reception, and a charge of $50 per week will apply.

Our laundry facilities are open 24/7 and cost $6 per wash and $6 per dry. Tap your card or phone on the payment device located on each machine to start your cycle.
Detergent is included in each wash cycle and will automatically be deposited into the machine upon start.

The resident will have to report to the reception for the issuance of a new card. A new card is charged at $50. If the room card is not lost, but left in the room, then it is a lockout, and it is charged at $50.

Yes, all apartments have air conditioning.
You can receive parcels 24/7 at our parcel lockers within our lobby on the Ground level. Oversized parcel will be stored at our reception for collection within business hours. Parcel sending service is not available at the building, please attend to the closest post office or any preferred courier service provider for parcel sending.
There is one shared kitchen on each floor. It is to be shared within 8 people on the level. Each of this kitchen is equipped with lockable storage space for each of the 8 residents.
A total of 8 people are sharing the two toilets and two shower on each floor.
Laundry Facilities are available in the building at $6 per wash cycle, and $6 per dry. Prices are subject to changes.
We have 10 elevators in total.
We have after hours staff available to attend to any emergencies after business hours.
If you would like to live with a friend who is also applying to stay with us, please make sure both applicants mention each other’s full names within the application or booking notes section when submitting your applications. We also recommend contacting our property team after booking to confirm your request. While we will always do our best to accommodate roommate requests, placement together is subject to availability and room type selection.
