Does this property have an Application fee?

No. There are no application fees.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure the booking?

Yes. To secure the apartment the tenant must pay 2 weeks rent plus cost of a mattress protector and shower curtain (if applicable). A Bond is payable, equivalent to 4 weeks rent if $800.00/ week or less or if $801/week or more is equivalent to 6 weeks rent, and is payable to the State Government Authority. In Adelaide, the authority is the Residential Tenancies Fund.

Is there a cancellation fee once I have secured an apartment?

Yes there is a cancellation fee equivalent to 2 weeks rent.

Are car parking spaces available?

Sorry there are no car park spaces available.

Do I need to pay a departure clean fee?

Yes - The cost to clean a room depends on the room and you will be invoiced individually for this clean.

If I wanted to break my lease, what are the costs associated with this?

Per the lease agreement, the tenant will be charged a reletting fee which equates to 2 weeks rent + GST by the remaining weeks to the end of the agreed term divided by 75% of the total agreed weeks, plus the departure clean and any remaining sundry charges and is required to pay rent until a replacement tenant has signed the lease.

What electricity cost am I responsible for?

Electricity is individually metered so the tenant is responsible for their electricity connection & consumption, except for Short Stay (4 - 11 weeks) contract in which the electricity connection & consumption is included in rent.

How much is the Internet / WIFI? Who is the provider and how much bandwidth do I have

Unlimited Internet is available and included in your rental price!

Do I need a mattress protector?

Yes, these are charged at $30 per bed.

Do I need to organise my own Contents Insurance?

No this is included in your rent. To view the UniLodge Contents Insurance Product Disclosure Statement - Click Here. Except for Short Stay contract  (4 - 11 weeks) in which Contents Insurance is not included in your rent.

Where can I find resources to manage my health and wellbeing?

UniLodge has listed a number of resources on our Student Health and Wellbeing page.

What are your check-in times and days?

You are welcome to check-in Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm.

What happens if I arrive outside of check-in times/days?

We recommend that you prearrange a hotel or alternative accommodation until you are able to check-in during check-in hours.

Can I request to check-in after hours?

Unfortunately, we do not offer check-ins outside of specified check-in times.

Was this property previously called UniLodge on Waymouth?

UniLodge on Waymouth was the property's former name. It has now been rebranded to Student Living - Waymouth.

Is Student Living - Waymouth a new property?

No. It's the same building, same rooms, same team as UniLodge on Waymouth - just a new name.

I applied when the property was called UniLodge on Waymouth - what happens now?

Your application remains valid and unchanged. No action is required.

Do I need to reapply because of the rebrand to Student Living - Waymouth?

No. All applications and bookings automatically carry over to Student Living - Waymouth.

Will my contract show the new name?

New documentation will reflect the Student Living name, but your aggreement terms stay the same.

Are my room rate or inclusions affected by the name change to Student Living - Waymouth?

No. Room types, inclusions, and pricing are not impacted by the rebrand.

Do existing offers still apply despite the name change to Student Living - Waymouth?

Yes. Any offers or arrangements originally issued under the UniLodge on Waymouth name continue to be honoured. 

Has the property location changed?

No. All facilities, services and ResLife experiences remain the same.

Why might I see the old name (UniLodge on Waymouth) online?

During the transition, you may see both names (UniLodge on Waymouth and Student Living - Waymouth) across different platforms while updates still roll out.

What should I search for online to find the property?
