Terms & Conditions:
- This service is exclusively available to residents of 6-Bedroom Multi-Share apartments at UniLodge South Bank.
- This inclusive service is nontransferable to any other apartment or property at Unilodge in Australia or New Zealand.
- Cleaning is strictly limited to shared internal common areas, specifically defined as:
- 3.1 The shared kitchen (excluding inside cupboards, appliances, or pantries).
- 3.2 The shared living and dining area.
- Individual resident bedrooms and ensuites (where applicable) are strictly excluded from this service.
- Services consist of basic hygiene maintenance, including:
- 5.1 Vacuuming and mopping of hard floors and carpets.
- 5.2 Wiping down accessible benchtop surfaces, external cabinet faces, mirrors, windows and windowsills, spot clean walls, A/C and PowerPoints, skirting boards.
- 5.3 Basic sanitization of shared bathroom fixtures (sinks, toilets, and showers)
- 5.4 Spot cleaning including stove top, oven, fridges, microwaves and rangehood.
- Residents remain responsible for the removal of all household waste. Our cleaning staff will not remove rubbish, recycling, or food waste from the premises.
- "Surface Only" Policy: To protect resident belongings and staff safety, cleaners will only clean accessible surfaces. Staff are strictly prohibited from moving or lifting furniture, personal electronics, or personal items to clean underneath or behind them.
- Resident Obligations and Access
- 8.1 Preparation of Space: For the service to be effective, surfaces and floors must be cleared of personal items, dishes, and clutter prior to the scheduled time.
- 8.2 Limited Liability: Any area deemed inaccessible due to excessive clutter, or the presence of delicate personal items will be skipped. UniLodge is not liable for areas left uncleaned due to a failure to clear the space.
- 8.3 Access: By accepting residency in a 6-bedroom multi-share apartment, residents grant UniLodge staff and authorized contractors’ access to the common areas during scheduled hours.
- Cleaning is usually conducted weekly and will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. While we aim to clean between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on weekdays, this timing may shift due to operational factors.
- This service is complimentary; no rent reductions or credits will be issued if the service is unavailable or skipped. Services will not be provided on weekends or public holidays.
- UniLodge reserves the right to modify or withdraw this service at any time. We will always aim to give you at least 14 days' notice of any significant changes.
- This complimentary service is provided at our discretion and may change or become chargeable in the future.
