Financial Support Accommodation Scholarship
Making Student Life More Accessible

At UniLodge Darwin, we understand that the cost of accommodation can be a barrier to starting or continuing your university journey. That’s why we’re proud to offer a limited number of Financial Support Accommodation Scholarships for Semester 1 2026. These scholarships provide weekly accommodation to eligible students experiencing financial hardship. Our goal is to support students who might otherwise be unable to begin or continue their studies at Charles Darwin University due to financial constraints.

Please note: This scholarship applies only to low-floor Standard Studio rooms only.

Who Can Apply?

The scholarships are open to new UniLodge Darwin residents who meet the following criteria:

• Are Australian citizens or permanent residents.
• Can demonstrate significant financial hardship that may prevent them from starting, continuing, or completing their university studies.
• Are not currently receiving another substantial, competitive scholarship from a university or other organisation.
• Are enrolled full time in an approved university program for Semester 1 2026.

How to Apply
To apply, simply:

1. Complete the Financial Support Accommodation Scholarship Application Form.
2. Submit your full applocation to the General Manager at UniLodge Darwin. 
3. Application deadline: 5:00 PM, 2 March 2026
4. All applications will be reviewed based on eligibility and merit. UniLodge may request additional information to support your application. 

Selection Process

Applications will be evaluated against the following criteria: 

• Demonstrated financial need.
• Academic enrolment in an approved university course.
• Overall merit of the application.

Scholarships will be awarded only if the selection panel is confident the applicant meets the full eligibility requirements. All decisions are final.
