Melbourne Central Station, a major hub in the metropolitan rail network, is adjacent to the campus and provides convenient train access from across the city. Several bus routes also service the area.

Cycling is supported with bike paths and secure parking, and many students walk from nearby suburbs such as Carlton and the CBD. Melbourne Airport is about 30 to 45 minutes away by car or SkyBus, depending on traffic.
