Two great facilities are currently available for students at UniLodge @ ANU: Kinloch Lodge
Kinloch Lodge, the newest student living in Canberra, opened early 2009. Wake up and walk to lectures in less that 5 minutes, it's the closest of all campus living to the City and CBD with public transport, shops, banks and pubs at your door.
Kinloch Lodge is all about community, studying and having fun together and building lasting friendships. The newest of our two Canberra UniLodges will support its 500 residents through our new program, Community Spirit, engaging all to get the most of University living and lifestyle. Study and social hangouts are bright, playful and fun, aimed to enhance social interaction or provide the necessary requirements for concentration and focus for those deep in studies. KinLoch Lodge offers - large lounge with flat screen TV and Foxtel, two sound proofed music rooms, computer lab, BBQ and outdoor areas, three study and two reading rooms - cool! You will enjoy state of the art internal security that provides peace of mind and protection. There are also secure bike racks and car parking.
There are a range of apartments from studios to six bedroom multi-share, all with kitchens and study desks. The smart designs are focused on maximising space and creating harmony. Many apartments include balconies for fresh air and entertainment with large open plan living rooms which allow for spacious lifestyles and room to move. Student living doesn't mean living in a box anymore. Experience the future of student living!
Davey Lodge
Davey Lodge, which opened in January 2007, offers secure and comfortable student housing on campus for ANU students. This exciting student accommodation facility offers students a choice of accommodation ranging from single occupancy studios to five bedroom and mezzanine apartments. Each student apartment provides self-contained living within a secure community environment, and all apartments have their own bathrooms and cooking facilities as well as television, internet and phone connections.
Davey Lodge incorporates generous common spaces to foster intellectual and social interaction for lasting friendships, academic stimulation and of course, fun for ANU students. The large common room, equipped with high quality entertainment systems, provides a place where you can relax and meet other students. The computer and study room offer the facilities required for students to work together on group assignments. As a student resident of ANU you will appreciate being on campus and close to the central city area. Reception is open 7 days a week and high levels of student care is provided by our Resident Advisors.
Student Support
Davey Lodge reception opening hours and our on-site residential staff and Resident Advisors will provide high levels of student care, helping students settle into life in Canberra. On-site emergency assistance will always be available outside office hours.
UniLodge residential staff will organise regular social events for students. |
