This UQ student accommodation in Brisbane is north-facing so it’s bright (just like our residents) and offers great views. You also get exclusive access to facilities and communal spaces like our popular recreation area. Choose to lease an entire two-bedroom apartment or share just the kitchen and balcony with one other.
It is conveniently located right on campus of the University of Queensland St Lucia precinct. The unique location of our university accommodation in Brisbane allows students to walk to lectures – meaning no need for public transport and therefore provides students with more time for study or enjoying the extensive range of extra curricular activities that the University has on offer – or because you are so close to campus, you can even head back to your apartment for your lunch break or a coffee on your private balcony with your friends.

A short 5 to 10 minute walk away there is a large shopping centre (on Hawken Drive) which is also surrounded by a variety of food options – subway, cafes, Japanese, Italian, Thai, fish and chips and more. There is also a small convenience store nearby. Toowong, Indooroopilly and the Brisbane CBD are only a short bus ride away.

University of Queensland - Design a Mural Competition
UniLodge @ UQ are looking for a collaborative and expressive designer, that is part of our Brisbane student accommodation portfolio, the opportunity to express themselves through creating a mural!
We are looking for a fun piece to go on the Unilodge @ UQ property stairs painted by a UniLodge student and the winner will get a $500 paid from the Body Corporate. We would like to see colour, positive images, fun and happiness in our desired design.
The design submission must cover the following and note all submissions will be presented to the Body Corporate committee for final decision. Any decision made by the Body Corporate or UniLodge staff is final. Winners will be notified via phone and email as per the terms and conditions.*
- Scope of the project

- Full materials list and prices

Please note that all elements of the project outline are final and are not able to be changed after submission. - The prize is the opportunity to paint the designated wall at the UniLodge @ UQ – St Lucia building, and a $500 gift pay from the Body Corporate.

- To enter, entrants will need to submit their original proposed design and project outline for completing the works by the deadline. Project details are outlined in the competition information.

- Inappropriate designs (deemed by UniLodge management), incomplete project outlines, non-student status at time of submission will be deemed as an invalid entry and the entrant’s design will be automatically removed.
- Particulars of the purchasing and associated costs to produce the design as per the project outline will be discussed with and organised in conjunction with UniLodge. Only outlined materials and associated costs with the design will be approved and payable by UniLodge. These purchases will be at the discretion of UniLodge and will only occur after winner is announced and project commences. Any items are to remain the property of UniLodge and only consumed for the project.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify an individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its right at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
