The property

D2 provides students with prestige boutique accommodation, 116 student apartments over eight levels. A perfect facility in a perfect location - near RMIT, State Library, the University of Melbourne, shopping and famous Lygon Street (restaurants galore!). The building features quality finishes, advanced technology, environmental excellence and awesome attention to detail. The ground floor common room has been designed to provide an exciting interface with the street and providing residents with an exceptional level of amenity. This awesome room has a big screen plasma TV with Foxtel! You will feel secure throughout the facility with smart card access at key entry points. Other facilities include a coin operated laundry, ironing facilities, bike spaces and a gorgeous café on ground level.

About the apartments

The apartments have floor to ceiling glass and balconies which take advantage of the excellent aspect offered by the inner city location. Contemporary apartments are self contained including study desk, kitchenette with microwave oven, fridge/freezer and gas cooking facilities, dining table and chairs, sofa and ottoman, coffee table, LCD TV and DVD player, ensuite bathroom (some with baths – great!) and reverse cycle air-conditioning. Advanced technology

Naturally you are connected to the world. In each bedroom there are phones and individual high speed internet access points. High speed wireless internet enabled for VOIP – is throughout the building. Each apartment is cabled for Foxtel and digital TV. This smart design is connected in every sense.
