UniLodge on A'Beckett, formerly known as Taylors on A'Beckett (TOAB), is a student accommodation facility established to offer premium accommodation to international and Australian students. We are the first choice for students attending Taylors College, however we extend a warm welcome to students from all other educational institutions in Melbourne. We offer a variety of accommodation - both hostel and apartment living. We recommend to those residents under 18 years of age to stay in either a single or shared hostel room.

 

The hostel rooms are fully furnished and heated. The furnishings include bed (or two bunk beds in a twin share room), wardrobe, desk and chair for each resident. A telephone line, data line, TV aerial connection is provided. Residents have access to a large common area for relaxation, watching television, playing table tennis and meeting new friends from around the world. The applied rates include daily breakfast and dinner. Resident are welcome to use the shared kitchen facilities which are on each floor.

 

The apartments are fully furnished (lounge chairs, dining table with chairs, desk and desk lamp, wardrobe and drawers), heated and offer a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, cupboards, stove, oven, kettle, toaster, saucepans, frying pan), and bathroom. On each apartment floor there is a laundry with a coin operated washing machine and clothes dryer, and rubbish disposal chutes. The studio apartments provide single accommodation in a bed sitting area with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Every apartment offers a telephone line, data line and TV aerial connection.

 

Another benefit of staying with us here at UniLodge on A'Beckett - is our excellent restaurant. This is where our hostel residents have breakfast and dinner, however the restaurant is open during the day for a great coffee, snack and for a la carte dining for all of our residents.

One amazing aspect of our location is how close we are to the Victoria Markets - they are one of the largest in the southern hemisphere.
